BalletNova Center for Dance offers Behind the Scenes and Dance Talk programs for our Spring Show.

Experience "Swan Lake Act II and Other Works" with BalletNova!

Behind the Scenes Program:

Sunday, May 5 at 1:30PM (Performance at 3:00pm)

Join us for a special BalletNova Educational Program (best for 12 years and under) and Girl Scouts can use this program towards earning their Dance Fun patch!

This program is an additional $5 per person.

Program Includes:

  • Learning about dance and theatre production, ballet steps and terminology
  • Watch a real class and rehearsal
  • Meet the dancers and see pointe shoes and costumes close up
  • Have a chance to ask questions about dancing and the theatrical process

Patch not provided, must order from Girl Scouts.

Special 20% group discount (10 or more) applys to performance tickets!

Dance Talk with Irina Wunder:

Saturday, May 4 at 6:00PM (Performance at 7:30pm)

A lecture on the backgroud and history of Swan Lake with American University Professor Irina Wunder, along with a peak at the dancers in class and at rehearsal.

This program is an additional $5 per person.
