2013 BalletNova Spring Gala

We are “Shining a Light on Dance” as we raise money for the BalletNova scholarship and financial aid program, as well as “spotlighting” future choreographers with the finalists from the BalletNova Young Choreographers Competition.

Guests will enjoy the opportunity to win fantastic items donated through our Silent Auction while listening to live music and munching on heavy hors d’oeuvres from the Lebanese Taverna and sweet treats from Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe and the Happy Tart.

The finalists from the BalletNova Young Choreographers Competition perform live, and Gala guests are the first to find out who wins the competition!  Prizes are awarded that night, and the young choreographers will be available to discuss their works and their dreams and aspirations.

Babysitting onsite is available for $10 per child, including crafts, activities and a pizza dinner, with dancers from the Junior Division as their hostess/babysitters!

Please support this effort!  Last year BalletNova awarded over $50,000 in financial aid and scholarships to deserving young dancers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford their dance lessons (many from immigrant and minority communities from our surrounding neighborhoods in Arlington, Falls Church and Alexandria). We are committed to helping any dedicated student who wants to dance to have the opportunity to study – won’t you partner with us?
