BalletNova Center for Dance performs to over 8000 audience members annually.  We bring two major performances to the community each year, including performances of the Nutcracker and a Spring Performance.

Classical to Contemporary - Spring Performance

Peter and the Wolf
Choreography by Artistic Director, Nancie Woods.  A ballet set to the familiar music that introduces the instruments of the orchestra – combining music and movement to tell a story.

Les Sylphides
Choreography by Michel Fokine, staged by Artistic Director, Nancie Woods.  A dreamlike setting ballet with a cast of sylphs in long romantic length tutus dancing in a moonlight garden with a young man often depicted as the poet.

City Thoughts
Choreography by Constance Walsh. An inventive look at a dancer’s life in New York – experimenting with styles, falling in love, and a humorous look at dealing with the overwhelming pace of the New York scene.

Gin Dance Company - Simply Bach
Choreography by Shu-Chen Cuff and guest, this contemporary ballet dance is filled with very playful, vivid, and uplifting movements and emotions inspired by Bach music played by Yo Yo Ma.
