Adult Ballet
Beginning Ballet I
No experience needed
Designed for the complete beginner. Instruction emphasizes alignment, posture, and body awareness, with careful attention to feet and arm positions. Ballet vocabulary and terminology are introduced progressively as the class builds week by week — students are encouraged to enroll for the full semester to gain the complete benefit of the course. Expect simple barre warm-ups, basic center floor work, and as the semester progresses, small jumps and traveling steps. Take-home stretching and strengthening exercises are also provided.

Beginning Ballet II
Beginning Ballet I or equivalent
For dancers who have completed Beginning Ballet I, or those wishing to revisit the fundamentals with greater depth. This level builds on the basics with a stronger emphasis on placement, technique, balance, and strength. Students can expect a full barre, pirouette preparation, small and medium jumps, and an introduction to grand allegro combinations across the floor.

Advanced Beginning Ballet
2+ years of experience
A strong fit for non-beginning dancers who are unsure of their level, those returning to the studio after time away, or dancers who feel confident at the Beginning level and are ready for more. A full understanding of ballet terminology is expected. Class includes a full barre followed by center work with pirouette combinations, as well as petit and grand allegro featuring both 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 foot jumps.

Intermediate Ballet
Several years of experience
A faster-paced class with longer combinations and increased complexity. Ideal for dancers comfortable at the Advanced Beginning level who are ready to build stamina and strength and seek a greater challenge.

The highest level in our adult program. This class offers a fast-paced, complex, and demanding experience for dancers who have mastered the Intermediate level and are seeking their next challenge.

Adult Tap
Tap 1: Beginning Tap 1
No experience needed
Designed for the true beginner — including those who may have tapped briefly as a child and are returning to the art form for the first time as an adult. This class introduces the fundamental sounds, rhythms, and vocabulary of tap in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Students are encouraged to progress through the full sequence of levels, with the goal of building a strong enough foundation to move confidently into Beginning Tap 2.

Tap 2: Beginning Tap 2
Beginning Tap 1 or equivalent
For dancers who have explored the basics — whether through a workshop or introductory class — and are ready to deepen their skills. This level refines foundational steps while introducing new vocabulary and more developed routines, giving students a richer and more satisfying tap experience week by week.

Tap 3: Advanced Beginning
Solid foundation in basic steps
For dancers who have moved beyond the basics and are proficient with basic steps and time steps. Students at this level have a working understanding of choreographic structure and are actively developing more intricate footwork.
Class focuses on learning and refining routines, with an emphasis on weekly attendance to build on each session's progress. Ideal for dedicated students who are ready to take their tap to the next level.

Tap 4: Intermediate
High-level experience required
Designed for dancers who tapped at a high level earlier in life and are returning to the studio with strong foundational knowledge but benefit from a more methodical approach. Complex combinations and challenging repertoire are broken down carefully, allowing students to rebuild confidence and precision at a supportive pace.

Tap 5: Intermediate/Advanced
High-level experience required
This class covers advanced material with a methodical, repeat-friendly approach. Students work through complex choreography with additional time given to repetition, ensuring that each combination is absorbed fully before moving on. Well suited for experienced dancers who thrive with a thorough, unhurried pace.

Tap 6: Advanced Tap
Advanced experience required
For dancers with clear, well-defined sounds, a broad vocabulary of steps, and the ability to absorb choreography quickly. Students at this level are comfortable with turns, understand counting and choreographic form, and can execute demanding repertoire — including pull backs and wings.
Class moves at a brisk pace, offering accomplished dancers the challenge and artistic depth they are looking for.
