Pre-Professional Division Dress Code 2025-2026
Studio Policies - All levels
- No jewelry, except stud earrings.
- No phones, apple watches, etc.; electronics brought into the studio must be turned off or on do not disturb and in dance bag.
- Dancers may not arrive or leave the studio wearing only leotard and tights; a coverup must be worn.
- No street shoes in the studio.
- Dance shoes may not be worn outside of the studio.
- Tights and shoes for female-identifying students may be pink or skin tone; tights and shoes must match.

Levels 1-3
Female Dancers
- Só Dança tank leotard (SL-09)
- Level 1: LIGHT BLUE
- Level 2: EMERALD GREEN
- Level 3: BURGUNDY
- Capezio Ultra Soft footed tights (#1915)
- Leather full-sole ballet shoes (canvas and/or split sole shoes are not permitted)
- Shoes and tights may be ballet pink or skin tone, tights and shoes must match (i.e., both ballet pink or both skin tone)
- Hair in bun, with hairnet
Male Dancers
- White form-fitting t-shirt (tucked into shorts/tights)
- Black bike shorts, white socks
- Leather full sole white ballet shoes
Level 4
Female Dancers
- Só Dança tank leotard (SL-09): RASPBERRY
- Capezio Ultra Soft footed tights (#1915)
- Leather full-sole ballet shoes (canvas and/or split sole shoes are not permitted)
- Shoes and tights may be ballet pink or skin tone, tights and shoes must match (i.e., both ballet pink or both skin tone)
- Hair in bun, with hairnet
Male Dancers
- White form-fitting t-shirt (tucked into shorts/tights)
- Full-length black tights/black socks or black bike shorts/white socks
- Leather full sole white ballet shoes
Levels 5-6
Female Dancers
- Só Dança camisole leotard (SL-04)
- Level 5: CELESTINE BLUE
- Level 6: NAVY
- Capezio Ultra Soft Transition tights (#1916)
- Canvas split sole ballet shoes
- Shoes and tights may be ballet pink or skin tone, tights and shoes must match (i.e., both ballet pink or both skin tone)
- Pointe shoes: Satin ribbon only (stretch ribbon is not permitted)
- Hair in bun, with hairnet
Male Dancers
- White form-fitting t-shirt (tucked into shorts/tights)
- Full-length black tights/black socks or black bike shorts/white socks
- Leather full sole white ballet shoes
Levels 7-9
Female Dancers
- Só Dança camisole leotard (SL-04)
- Level 7: PURPLE
- Level 8: BLACK
- Level 9: BLACK

- Canvas split sole ballet shoes
- Shoes and tights may be ballet pink or skin tone, tights and shoes must match (i.e., both ballet pink or both skin tone)
- Pointe shoes: Satin or stretch ribbon
- Level 9 only: White Practice tutu
- Hair in bun, with hairnet
Male Dancers
- Black or white t-shirt (tucked into tights) or leotard (worn underneath tights)
- Full-length black tights, black or white socks
- Canvas split sole ballet shoes, black or white
- Dance Belt
Conservatory Division dancers should have at least two sets of class attire.
