BalletNova Board Liaison to the Pre-Professional Program
One of the main goals of the BalletNova Board of Directors this year is to increase communication and connections with the BalletNova community. As part of that effort, the Board is looking for a parent / guardian of a Pre-Professional Division student to serve as a liaison to the Board.
The Board Liaison would be a non-voting member of the Board and represent the perspective of the Pre-Professional dancers and families at Board meetings.
The Board Liaison responsibilities will include the following:
- Serving as a point of contact for families in the Pre-Professional Program
- Reporting to the Board periodically about the Pre-Professional Program community (topics of interest, issues, concerns, etc.)
- Attendance at Board meetings and participation in the open (non-executive session) portion of the meetings
The Board Liaison should be a person with strong communication skills, who is willing to forge multiple connections with dancers and families in the Pre-Professional Division, and the ability to attend and participate in Board meetings.
Any parent or guardian with an interest in serving as the Board Liaison should send a letter of interest describing their experience with BalletNova and any relevant skills or work experience to Kimberly Notorianni, BalletNova Board President ([email protected]).
