Dancers ages 11 – 18
For all exercises, only one side of a combination is needed. Auditioning students should feel free to be creative in the creation of their exercises.
Barre
- Pliés in first, second, fourth and fifth positions
- Tendu from fifth position
- Frappé
- Grand Battement from fifth position
Center
- Adagio including promenade
- Pirouette
- Grand Allegro
Pointe
- Échappé
- Piqué Turns
Please note a classical ballet variation performance showcasing pointe work may be provided in lieu of class work.
